I just got my grubby little mitts on a copy of Slaves to Darkness. A lovely near mint copy to boot. Now to collect myself an nice little Khorne warband.
EDIT - added some photos:
Some great colour photos of miniatures in the centre pages that I had never seen before (in PDF versions)
You lucky sod. Some bugger years ago stole my hardback that I'd had since my early teens. >_<
ReplyDeleteYeah, been down that road before. Never owned any of the Realms of Chaos books before today though so this is a special time. :)
DeleteHope you enjoyed the first flick through... oh, and the smell... Was it a proper first time or had you read the pdf?
DeleteI had looked through he PDF before, but the book is just soooooooooooo much nicer. The PDF didn't include the full colour photos in the centre of the book either.
DeleteCongrats - I'm beginning to feel left out here! Might have to get hunting myself...
ReplyDeleteJust got to keep a keen eye on ebay. We should probably set up a sub forum to make sure we all aren't bidding on the same one and driving the prices up as well. Just had that happen on a terrain piece over the holiday against dad. =)
DeleteThat is an awesome copy. Have fun thumbing through it, it is so much better then look at a pdf.! Enjoy
ReplyDeleteThere's a PDF version available? That's news to me. Where can I find it?
ReplyDeleteHave a search for "Realms of Chaos - Slaves to Darkness" on http://www.scribd.com/ I am pretty sure there is a copy on there
DeleteLovely Ian Miller illos there, one of my all-time favourite artists!
ReplyDeleteI am in total agreement. I love his black and white art in particular, wonderful line work and a style that is unique really.
